The Share Foundation - Financial Education - Stepladder of Achievement

Now available on our YouTube channel.

Our Stepladder of Achievement programme has been providing financial education for young people in care for over five years.

It is a free-to-use resource which has contributed over £1,250,000 to savings accounts for nearly 1,500 young people in care via Stepladder Plus, the incentivised version of the programme.

Did you know the incentivised version of the programme is open to applicants from every local authority and health trust throughout the UK, with active participation in nearly 80% of local authorities ? As from 1st March 2025, young people in care aged 15-17 can earn up to £750 to be added to their savings account (note: for Scottish local authorities the former ‘up to £1,500’ limit will continue to apply).

If you have an interest in the future financial knowledge and wellbeing of children in care please watch an edition of the seminar on YouTube to find out how The Share Foundation can assist in this important area (note: please note that the above paragraph sets out current incentive level arrangements).
