Contribute to an individual Junior ISA/Child Trust Fund account
Step 1: Obtain the TSF reference number (if you do not already have it)
All Junior ISA and Child Trust Funds administered by The Share Foundation will have a unique TSF reference. If this is not known already, you can obtain this from The Share Foundation’s ‘main contact’ at the relevant local authority of the young person. This reference ensures that the contribution is made into the correct account, as once a contribution has been paid into the account, it is deemed as a gift to the young person and cannot be refunded.
For support in obtaining the TSF reference number, please contact The Share Foundation on 01296 310400 or email info@sharefound.org providing the name of the local authority looking after the young person.
If making a one-off contribution go to Step 2
For regular contributions go to Step 4
Step 2: Complete a Contribution Form for non-Direct Debit contributions
All non-Direct Debit contributions to an individual Junior ISA or Child Trust Fund account require a contribution form to be submitted to The Share Foundation. This ensures we can identify and match the contribution amount to the correct young person and donor. The form is required for all payment methods, ideally prior to receiving the contribution. It can be submitted electronically using the online link below or downloaded below and emailed or posted. The minimum single or regular payment is £10 - this is stipulated by the account providers!

If posting the Contribution Form, please sign it and send the completed form to:
The Share Foundation, PO Box 1172, Aylesbury HP20 9PG
If emailing, send to: info@sharefound.org
Step 3: Arrange Payment of the single Contribution
The Share Foundation can accept ‘one-off’ payments by bank transfer and regular payments by Direct Debit. Please note that in all cases the minimum payment which can be accepted is £10.00
Bank transfer payments are arranged directly by the donor with their bank as one-off contributions. The bank sort code and account number to transfer the funds to is shown after completion of the online form and is also shown on the paper contribution form.
Please ensure when setting up bank payments, the TSF reference number is used as the payment reference. Bank transfers received without TSF references will be returned, as we need this reference to ensure the contribution is paid to the correct account.
A cheque must be made payable to ‘The Share Foundation’. Please attach the cheque to a contribution form (remembering to include the TSF reference) and post to The Share Foundation.
Step 4 - Regular Direct Debit payments - minimum £10.00 per payment
IF YOU ARE USING A DIRECT DEBIT TO REPLACE A STANDING ORDER PAYMENT, PLEASE CONTACT YOUR BANK TO CANCEL THE STANDING ORDER!
Direct debit payments can be made monthly, quarterly or annually (1st or 15th of the month to suit you) or every one, two, three or four weeks as appropriate. For example, if you wish to contribute £5 each week this can be set up as a payment of £10 every two weeks, £15 every three weeks or £20 every four weeks.
Please note that all weekly direct debits will be collected on Tuesdays. If you select a day other than a Tuesday (which may occur due to the system constraints) the DD will be collected for the first time on the Tuesday following your selected start date and every Tuesday thereafter.

If you are unable to complete the appropriate online Direct Debit form above you can download a Direct Debit mandate for completion and posting the The Share Foundation here. Alternatively, you can call us on 01296 310400 and we will be happy to complete the Direct Debit with you over the telephone.
Unfortunately, there may be occasions when we are unable to administer a contribution and will return the funds to the donor. Reasons for this may include:
A payment received by bank transfer without a TSF reference.
A contribution form received with a cheque but without a TSF reference.
The young person has left care or turned 18.
The young person is over 17 years and 10 months old, leaving us insufficient time to pay the donation into their account.
The Share Foundation cannot locate an account.
